New Daikin ‘EWAQ~E-/F-’ multiple scroll chiller range offers maximum efficiency and largest single refrigerant circuit on market

Daikin Europe N.V. announces the new ‘EWAQ~E-/F-’ multiple scroll chiller range designed for absolute energy efficiency, including versions with a Eurovent Class A rating. The new range also boasts very low sound levels, reduced footprint and easy installation. It is compatible with the most common BMS protocols, and has the largest single refrigerant circuit presently available on the multi-scroll chiller market, making it the ideal solution for a broad range of comfort and process applications.

Maximum energy efficiency

Two efficiency versions are available – standard and high – with the high efficiency version having Class A status according to the Eurovent energy classification scheme (EERs greater than 3.1 in all situations). The high efficiency model also has one of the highest partial load efficiency values in its range (up to 4.97).

Single or dual refrigerant circuits: largest single refrigerant circuit on the market

The new range is available with one or two refrigerant circuits. The single circuit version (‘EWAQ~E-’) – the largest single refrigerant circuit on the market – can be powered by two or three compressors (173 to 336 kW), on a “V” shaped frame with an extremely small footprint. The dual circuit version (‘EWAQ~F-’) is powered by four to six compressors (199 to 675 kW) on a “V” or “W” shaped frame.
