City's Nişantaşı Shopping Centre caters to upmarket living
Daikin Europe N.V. and Daikin’s marketing company for Turkey, Daikin Klima Pazarlama Limited Şirketi, announce the completion of a major shopping mall project in Istanbul: City's Nişantaşı. Five minutes from the most populous section of Istanbul, the district Nişantaşı is a hub for fashion, upmarket living and shopping, including the most famous international brands. The new complex complements similar centres already present in the district and caters to the more affluent residents of Istanbul as well as to foreigners living in or visiting the city. In addition to shops, the new mall has cafes, restaurants and entertainment facilities.
VRVIII for optimum comfort
The heart of the project is Daikin’s VRV heat pump technology for both cooling and heating. 108 VRV outdoor units and 386 indoor units provide year round comfort to the variety of facilities housed in the approximately 20,000-m2 complex. Centralised control of the VRV units is provided by Daikin’s Intelligent Manager. This system offers optimum individual management and control of all of the indoor units in a user friendly fashion. Also included in the City's Nişantaşı complex is Daikin’s Power Proportional Distribution software that calculates individual tenant’s power usage based on a sophisticated analysis of the VRV system parameters.
City's Nişantaşı opened its doors to the public on 18 January 2008.
